Me, Carolyn, and Tracy in 2015
Somewhere around the 18th version of my book (there were 26 versions in all) Tracy’s character was edited out. I still wanted to mention her family’s awesome taco nights, so using the magic of fiction and composite characters, I gave those to Carolyn’s family. (Apologies to Tracy and her mother!)
